What kind of packages do you have?
We have packages at reasonable rates, or ala carte that you can purchase just the products/services you need.
Are there travel charges?
No travel charges! The only exception would be for overnight travel and destination weddings.
Do you work with an assistant?
My husband of 24 years usually accompanies me, or another staff member if he is unavailable.
What kind of equipment do you have?
Hasselblad medium format and Nikon cameras...I always have backup equipment. I travel light with portable equipment to be able to get those Candid moments!
What's the 'First Glimpse'?
We started doing the "First Glimpse" pose eleven years ago for those couples that "don't want to see each other", yet don't want to spend the entire reception having portraits made! The First Glimpse gives the two of you a very special moment (and time alone!), and also allows the portraits to be complete before the ceremony! This is optional. We respect your decision as to whether you want to see each other or not!
When do photos start?
Generally 2-2 1/2 hours before the ceremony....always finished 1/2 hour right before the ceremony so you can get off your feet!
When will our photos be ready?
In most cases, your photos will be ready for pickup by your first month anniversary!
Can we have black/white photos?
We photograph using color and black&white film and digital which enables us to make any photo black/white, sepia (brown-toned), or add a splash of color!
Do we get to keep the proofs?
All proofs...whether purchased as ala carte or part of a package, are yours to keep. Please be aware that 'proofs' are a basic representation of the photograph...includes paper proofs and proofs on CD. Proofs are of good quality, but not near the extreme quality of your final enlargement prints!
Do we get to keep the negatives?
Negatives can be purchased ala carte, and are included in a few of our packages. This includes both film negatives and high resolution digital files.
Note: Our Quality Guarantee stands behind every image that is printed through our studio. We do not take any responsibility or liability for any print that fades, has poor color, or any other defect you may experience with printing yourself or printing through any other photo lab or other source.
Can we have an engagement portrait?
Yes! Engagement session is included with ala carte or packages. Your session can be anywhere you choose, with or without your pets, any time of day 9am-9pm.
